Who will care for garden 4/27/01

Must I say goodbye?
At early dawn when silence envelops me
I find my Lord in contentment
My prayers have been answered, only too
find peace in my heart
My loves are near me, those I hold so dear
But who will care for my garden?
I pray they find the same peace and comfort
In the long soft shadows of dawn and dusk
as I have found and comforted in.
In early morning the dew will drip and a
chorus of winged harmony fills the void.
Of heaven I long and pray, this earth
can not hold me but
only give me rest in my journey.
My Lord will care for my garden.
He will tend to the weeds of discontentment
and pluck out the cords of human sin.
I lift high my cup of thanks
and find life’s final thirst, quenched
My soul answers my Lord’s final call,
my Lord, the gardener of my soul.
